I'm Nawaz, a software engineer who's worked with teams across the US, Singapore, and beyond from my base in Islamabad. Over eight years I've taken products from a blank canvas to production and the metrics that follow. I care about the outcome, not just the code: the hire that gets made faster, the user who gets verified in seconds, the team that stops drowning in manual work. Lately I've been building AI systems that quietly do the work of several people, so the humans can focus on what matters.
How I Build
I build like a team of one.
AI isn't autocomplete for me. It's an operating system for shipping. I've built a disciplined, agentic workflow that compresses work that used to take a team a full quarter into days or weeks, without cutting corners on tests or architecture.
Idea to PRD, architecture, and sharded stories before code. The planning a PM, architect, and lead used to do, run as one tight loop.
I orchestrate fleets of AI agents via Claude Code and Superpowers: brainstorming, TDD, parallel subagents. I architect the system; agents execute under direction.
Adversarial code review, verification-before-completion, and real tests keep quality high. Speed never means sloppy.

- Architected and shipped an in-product AI assistant essentially solo: a provider-neutral orchestrator with 58 typed tools, streaming responses, role-scoped access, and prompt-injection guardrails.
- Laid the initial foundations for AI-driven talent screening (relevancy scoring and auto-rejection) that the product's now-advanced systems build on.
- Primary engineer for the time-off and attendance domain: customer, employee, and admin portals, per-country leave policy logic, clock-in and shift handling, timesheets, and automated approval jobs.
- Owns features end to end across nine repositories and roughly 1,900 commits, from Postgres and Sequelize models to Redux-Saga React screens.
- Drove platform-wide migrations (Material-UI v4 to v9, JavaScript to TypeScript) and authored much of the shared, Storybook-tested component library, alongside billing and payroll surfaces and core plumbing (RBAC, feature flags, analytics, SSO).
